A Trusty Servant
The smallest of the WWII German half-track vehicles, the Kettenkraftrad was nonetheless a major presence and active in many duties. It featured a central engine and a motorcycle handlebar at the front, with superlative balance and the power and mobility to take on rough terrain. Over eight thousand were produced during WWII, and those manufactured between 1943 and 1944 had distinctive features such as a rounded taillight base, plus reinforcing plates on the armrests of the rear seat.

Length: 139mm (with trailer), width: 29mm. ★The unmistakeable form of the Kettenkraftrad is depicted in style, right down to the complex suspension setup. ★Features ergonomic recreations of engine and transmission, plus an opening engine hatch. ★Assembly type tracks utilize one-piece straight sections, with separate parts for the pads. ★Comes with a driver and two other figures.

Packaging


★Parts are also included to recreate the trailer, which could be hooked up to the rear and used to carry materials.

★Photo-etched parts give superb detail on the engine grille sections. A jig is included to bend them into shape.

★The model features an opening engine hatch, which allows inspection of the section underneath.

★Left: 4-cylinder engine, transmission, floor and seat are authentically depicted while keeping parts numbers reasonable.

★Right: The driver figure features a choice of two head and right arm components, giving you more options for your scene.

★Left: Machine gunner and ammunition carrier are depicted in natural pose. Choose between helmet or field cap for both.

★Right: Assembly type tracks have single piece straight sections, with separate pad parts that can be attached using the sprue.
