With the introduction of the restyled Charger body for 1968, Dodge found immediate success. The 1968 Dodge Charger debuted the new body design, also known as the "Coca-Cola model". The rounded body featured double arches on the doors and bonnet to accentuate all the curved lines to make the car look good on the road and in drag racing.
